"Retreat hell! We just got here." This is what Capt LLoyd Williams of the 51st Company (2/5) told the French when urged to retreat from Belleau Wood. Capt Williams would die in Belleau Wood nine days later. 

Retreat Hell! is still the motto of 2/5 to this day.
